Fictional Story: The Hi Nu Gundam Ground Tactical Assault System was developed by the Earth Federation Forces for the singular purpose of arming its NewType pilots with a mobile suit for clandestine operations. The idea was no conflict could ever start if threats could be neutralized before it can begin. After seeing the performance of Amuro Ray's Nu Gundam, the military quickly ordered the development of a mobile suit with psycho frame technology to increase the success rate of its operations, especially secret ones by its already elite NewType pilots. Aneheim Electronics quickly reproduced the Nu Gundam but modified with the latest experimental weaponry appropriate for the operations it was meant to execute. Only one prototype was ever made. Despite is short life, the Nu GTAS was used for 39 successful operations and was behind the assassination of various military officers that would eventually help end the various insurgencies by Zeon Remnants. In fact, it has earned the moniker "Yellow Ghost" as those who faced it in battle would only remember a strange yellow object before finding their mobile suits incapacitated and thus unable to pursue or thoroughly scan the battlefield. They never knew what hit them. The Nu GTAS was eventually retired and only a handful of Aneheim Electronics and Earth Federation Officers know about its fate. It was last seen being delivered to one of the miliary's secret storage facilities only to be deployed if a need ever arises again.
